Pelvic congestion syndrome

Pelvic congestion syndrome (PCS) is one of the common causes (20-35%) of long-term (more than 6 months) pelvic pain. Pelvis congestion syndrome pain is vague intra-pelvic and supra- pubic region pain that can radiate to low back as well. PCS pain can get more severe with hormonal changes during period. The main pathology of pelvic congestion syndrome is ovarian vein reflux that can cause varicose veins in the groins, buttocks and thighs.
